What does Patchouli do for emotional and spiritual wellbeing?

Patchouli is known in traditional Chinese medicine for its ability to clear stagnant energy in the body.

  • Calming, grounding, relaxing, sedation effect

  • Used to strengthen clarity and confidence

  • Used to solidify healthy boundaries

  • Helpful for stress

  • Trauma healing

  • Helps center grounded energy

A few tips on using Patchouli:

  • Are you feeling scattered and stressed? Put 1 drop of Patchouli on your thumb and press to the roof of your mouth. Count to 10 and think, “I call my spirit into my body on the count of 10.”

  • Vericose veins? Combine 1 drop each Patchouli and Geranium in a tablespoon of coconut oil and massage into the legs.

  • For relaxation, add 1 drop Patchouli to your epsom salts, shake, and pour into your tub. Patchouli pairs well with oils like Cypress, Black Spruce, Cedarwood and other tree oils for relaxation!

  • For mental clarity, diffuse 1-2 drops of Patchouli in your essential oil diffuser. Pair with something like Clary Sage, Cedarwood or even Geranium which are excellent to promote focus, clarity and calm.
